3rd Annual Arc in the Park Brought Smiles & Success
Even in the drizzle and under gray skies The 3rd Annual Arc in the Park did not disappoint. It was held in lower Bidwell Park on Sat. March 18th and there were many smiles and pats on the back for participants who never thought they could complete the walk or the races, and yet they were successful and they did compete and complete. There was a record number of 5K runners and for the first year, an added 10K race brought out many new distance runners to the event. 1st, 2nd and 3rd place medals were awarded in 4 age brackets for both male and female categories. We were fortunate this year to have Under The Sun Events provide timing services, making Arc in the Park a sanctioned race event.
