Kerry Farley (Arc Receptionist & Respite Scheduler) has made a positive impact on many lives in the past year. Her supervisor Tom Leonardi nominated her for, “epitomizing Arc’s values of respect, communication & teamwork”.  As the Arc receptionist Kerry is the initial point of contact for people in need of services. As Tom puts it, “Often the people she meets are confused, anxious, or even upset, but Kerry has a way of working with people, understanding them and helping them find solutions to their problems.”

Charlie Williams (Arc Store Oroville- Manager)was nominated by Arc consumer and employee Josef Berhardis and Arc Exec. Dir. Michael McGinnis. Here is what Josef has to say about Charlie: “Charlie has taught me many things at the Arc Thrift Store and Coffee Shop in Oroville. I now can work the register, make drinks for people, and keep the store clean. He also has taught me many life skills like cooking, swimming and even playing the guitar. Charlie goes out of his way to assist me and my family and has helped make my life even more special. He is a good boss and a good man.”    Well said, Josef. We couldn’t agree more!
Kudos to all the winners and special thanks to the BCCC for their efforts to recognize truly impactful people in our community.
