2nd Annual Arc in the Park
Arc in the Park 2016
On your marks, get set and achieve wellness! That was the goal of the 2nd annual Arc in the Park 1 mile walk and 5k run on Sat. April 23rd in Bidwell Park. More than a hundred walkers and runners from Butte County and beyond came out and participated in the event.
Arc in the Park event tripled its participation rate among 5k runners and had many more “special needs” participants in 2016. The event was a success and The Arc would like to thank all of the volunteers from CJSF (Marsh Junior High School Scholarship Federation members) and staff from the Arc.

1st place winner in the female division 5k was Caitlyn Dunn, also the overall fastest time in the race. 2nd place female was Aislyn Lair. 1st place winner in the male division was Chris Urbach and 2nd place male winner was Brian Lair.
It was a fun walk/ run event that helped raise funds for the Arc’s Family Support Programs. We’ll be back Spring, 2017 with an even bigger event. Thank you to all who participated and continue to support The Arc of Butte County.
